We are also supporting "Reforest the Future" in Gambia, a project run by a member of the Women's Initiative Gambia. This endeavour is designed to address critical issues such as land degradation, food insecurity, and poverty within Gambia. The project's objectives include afforestation efforts through tree planting and the provision of education to members of the community. These programs allow them to establish tree nurseries and cultivate edible and indigenous tree species, that contribute to the conservation of biodiversity in the region.
